Seasonal Gatherings

Available to Reading Room members only
£30 per session
First Thursday of each month · 7:30–9:00pm

Seasonal Gatherings are live, shared spaces for members of the Reading Room who would like to engage more deeply with the work.

Held on the first Thursday of each month from 7:30–9:00pm, they offer a chance to return to the seasonal theme introduced in the Letter from the Library at first light on the first day of the month, and to explore it more fully through conversation, reflection and shared sense-making.

Co-hosted by Dr Kath Jones and Dr Jo Hacking, these are facilitated spaces shaped by lived experience and the realities of NHS work.

Seasonal Gatherings are available only to Reading Room members, with places offered at an additional cost of £30 per session.

A gentle note

You do not need to have clear answers, polished thoughts or the right words before you come.  Often, it is enough simply to arrive, listen, and join the conversation.
