What feels beyond your immediate reach?
Where might you have an opportunity to contribute to change?
What meaningful and manageable next step have you chosen?

Bring the two perspectives together

The Culture Compass is designed to complement The 12 Habits of Whole-Person Practice.

The 12 Habits turns our attention inwards towards the choices we bring to everyday practice. The Culture Compass turns our attention outwards towards the environment surrounding those choices.

If you have completed both courses, use your journal to consider two questions together:

What am I bringing to my everyday practice?

How does the culture around me support or hinder the way I want to practise?

Holding both perspectives helps us recognise what we can change through our own actions, where we might help influence change with others and where responsibility should not be carried alone.

As a member of the Wild-Ness Learning Library, you can also join the monthly Reading Room, revisit the reflective tools and use your journal to gather your learning over time.
