An online training programme curated by Wild-Ness Health
The Four Seasons of Learning brings together almost three years of learning from Wild-Ness Health — clinical practice, creative work, research, and community collaboration — and translates it into a flexible, engaging, year-long online programme for health professionals.
It’s an attempt to bottle what we’ve learned about practising sustainably and relationally and make it accessible, realistic, and usable within the realities of the NHS and wider health system.
A journey from awareness to flourishing
If you’re craving a kinder rhythm to practise in — one that strengthens care and the people who give it — this programme is for you.
The Four Seasons of Learning is designed for health professionals working across the system, and at all stages of their careers, who sense that something needs to change in how we practise — but not through doing more or pushing harder.
Instead, it offers a different pace: reflective, relational, and grounded.
Who is it for?
The Four Seasons of Learning is for health professionals who sense that something needs to change in how we practise — not through doing more, but through relating differently.
It’s for those working with complexity, uncertainty, and persistent symptoms, where clear answers aren’t always available and the emotional weight of the work can quietly build. Many people come to this programme feeling stretched, frustrated, or simply tired of carrying things alone — and looking for a kinder, more sustainable rhythm.
This programme is designed for people practising across the system and at all stages of their careers: GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists, psychologists, social prescribers, third-sector practitioners, educators, coaches, trainees, and students. Whether you work inside the NHS or alongside it, you are welcome. You don’t need to be an expert in psychology, trauma, or mind–body medicine.
You don’t need extra qualifications or prior training. All that’s needed is a willingness to pause, reflect, and explore a different way of practising — one that supports both care and the people who give it.
Learning with the rhythm of the seasons
The programme unfolds across four seasons, inspired by nature’s cycles:
Autumn — slowing down, noticing patterns, letting go
Winter — self-compassion, stillness, and change beneath the surface
Spring — creativity, renewal, and reimagining practice
Summer — integration, connection, and flourishing
We move with the seasons — slowing down, reflecting, and growing in our own time. Each small step becomes part of a wider cycle of change.
This structure keeps the learning meaningful and manageable, supporting a journey from awareness to flourishing and a re-imagining of whole-person care built on safety, connection, and compassion.
